                                    SAYONARA 2018 , GETTING  CLOSER TO 2020


Introduction

2018 might be another mundane year for you or rather it would have had some special moments and task you would have accomplished, as we inch closer to a new decade get nostalgic and shed a tear or two remembering the times when the technology was awful, phones were ridiculously small and we had no choice but to use internet explorer but we still think we enjoyed more than today. Where are we heading?

2018- A Mixed bag of events

2018 started with the Koregaon Bhima riots which were felt in the western part of India.


It also saw the infamous no confidence motion against the government which did not succeed.It was a great deal of mayhem which was caused on A Seemingly ordinary Friday in July and most people took it as a comical episode in politics.

We saw a great deal of improvements and Indore bagged the title of the cleanest city of India again.

Great leaders and  passed away making the world poor like George H.W Bush, famous astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, Atal Bihari Vajpayee who was very popular among the masses known for his wit.


The pop culture also suffered with people like Avicii passing away mysteriously.


Famous actress Sridevi also left us at a tender age of 54.


4 states of the nation went to polls and gave astonishing and shocking results.

What next?

As the nation gears up for Lok Sabha polls and we move nearer to 2020 we have a great deal to improve too. As we too are in a frenzy to improve ourselves slowly we need to pay attention to public spaces and assets too. Many people are dreaming of more gadgets as we move towards encouraging technology we are forgetting the centuries old practices and surprisingly moving far from people as we are in the illusion that we are getting closer using gadgets.It is not late and we could still clean up our act.

It has been barely around 7 months since I started this blog as a way to express a deluge of thoughts and ideas on the ever expanding ideas of internet.

I ensure that 2019 would be a better year for this platform with many articles filled with humor, trivia and a lot of knowledge.

I sincerely wish you a happy new year filled with happiness and surprises and a great deal of contentedness and peace
